The idea for Sorinna’s Bakery was born in 2022, following a casual comment made by a friend of ours.

Korinn, one of the founders, was considering a new career path, and in a conversation regarding the future, Korinn mentioned to Anna, one of the other founders, and a friend, that she would love to pursue a culinary profession. Anna, working as a nurse at the time, agreed that a culinary occupation had always intrigued her as well, and our friend said, “Well, you could start a bakery together.”

The idea never left, and after a few years filled with thought, contemplation, prayer, and consideration, we made the decision to start a business together.

Our friend Sophie, the third founder, was working at another food service establishment at the time, and after several years of consideration on her part, she was excited to join us as well.

We began focusing on the endeavor full time in June 2024 and started operating out of Sophie’s grandmother’s kitchen as we worked on finding and establishing a storefront.

Since then, we’ve settled into a lovely downtown building and after several months of working on that storefront, we officially opened our doors on November 9th, 2024!

Getting established into this community has been such a blessing, and we are truly grateful for all the support and love we've received! We're excited to see what the upcoming months and years bring!
